Doctor P and Adam F have teamed up with M. E. T. H. O. D. Maaan, that’s Method man from the WU TANG CLAN to bring you their new single ‘The Pit’ and animated video.
Well, not quite my fellow droogs. What we’re here to talk about is Ultrahaptics or enhanced multi-point, mid-air haptic feedback. The new feedback mechanics will allow you to feel more than just the basic vibrations, it enables the user to interact and feel the tactile feedback ‘mid-air’ even before your finger hits the screen. Absolutely amazing technology.
In the demonstration video below, the user is able to sense things through multi-point tactile feedback like: elevation changes of the land, population density and the ever popular “You are here” location point, all without even looking at the screen.
The Bristol University research team is responsible for engineering such Ultrahaptics. The completely new method to the madness is achieved by utilizing acoustic radiation vs spinning weights to create the sensations.
Ultrasonic transducers used in a phased array allow movement to be converted into sound waves that are focused into many different areas that converge at a given point and provide the sonic feedback to your fingers and/or hands. By changing the frequency of the modulation the user can perceive different textures or buttons or whatever. WThis allows the Ultrahaptics technology to provide multi-point tactile feedback mid air to simulate things like perhaps swiping a page, pushing a button or perhaps even virtual braille for visually impaired individuals.

The video is an interpretation of life/after/denim as a brand. The evolution from black and white to color signifies their loyalty to classic American design while emphasizing their affinity with contemporary styling. Life/After/Denim believes that good workmanship and smart design never go out of style and that functionality is key. Their objective in the men’s market is not to reinvent the wheel but rather pay homage to their foundations by uniting rich colors, subtle detailing and the finest fabrics with classic silhouettes, all executed with superior craftsmanship in mind.
Life/After/Denim wants to shed light onto the modern day man by transcending age, season and style with minimal effort. The pieces from their fall/holiday collection are a testament to this. A refined aesthetic and dedication to heritage lends modernity and authenticity to each piece, giving life/after/denim clothing a timeless quality that is often attempted but rarely achieved.

If you have turned on the radio recently, we are sure you have heard the Eminem and Rihanna song The Monster. This is now No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Eminem showed his excitement about the anticipation of the song’s full music video by releasing a teaser trailer that also co-stars Rihanna.
The teaser, which is slightly shorter than a minute, finds the pair in a dim office where Eminem is seated in front of a TV on which he silently watches a montage of clips of himself. Rihanna sits nearby taking notes, and a camera trained on Eminem also captures his reactions.
The 57-second “The Monster” video preview ends with an outdoor scene showing a pair of guards with huge guns trained on a large metal crate, the contents of which are not revealed. See the teaser below.
Check out these two superstars shaking and moving their hips, which don’t lie. Shakira and Rihanna both look extremely sexy while playing with each other.
Melanie Iglesias is kind of a big deal in the modeling world but you can also see her on TV on MTV shows like Guy Code, Girl Code and Guy Court. The official trailer for Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is finally here featuring The Glitch Mob’s single “Can’t Kill Us” off their new LP Love Death Immortality
The sequel to the surprise hit Sin City movie from nine years ago is set to be released on August 22.
Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Chung, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven and Stacey Keach star in the new movie.
On a side note, next week The Glitch Mob will take LDI on the road for their sweeping nationwide tour with top billing at Ultra Music Festival, Gov Ball NYC, Coachella and more. TGM has always been known for stellar live production and this upcoming nationwide tour will certainly be no exception – their stage and visual tech wizardry is designed by the visionary Martin Phillips at Bionic League (whose work includes live performance experience design for Daft Punk, Kanye West, Deadmau5, Kaskade), with feature custom-built technology that lets the band trigger samples in real-time, and play them like live riffs, infusing their electronic music performance with improvisation, and the energy and drama of a live rock show. From only experimenting with live instrumentation on their debut LP Drink the Sea, The Glitch Mob has since continued to push the envelope with new rhythms and tempos and combines them with speaker-shredding bass throb and rock swagger.
A scientific look into what makes the Portuguese forward the greatest footballer in the world
With two European Golden Shoe and FIFA World Player of the Year awards – among others, under his belt Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the greatest athletes in the world, but what really makes the man behind the ball a “Máquina?”
Touted as the ideal soccer player, a recent Castrol Edge film titled Cristiano Ronaldo –Tested to the limit reveals that CR7 is, in fact, crafted for soccer. As if his genes were carefully picked from the pool to engineer a perfect footballer, everything from his tall physique to his visual processing ability come together on the field for what can only be described as magic.
Don’t believe me? Here, check it out for yourself.
Jumps higher than the average NBA player? Sprints like an Olympian? Scores goals in absolute darkness?…Are you freaking kidding me?
This video is particularly fascinating to me since I will more often than not disagree that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best soccer player in the world, but I am a woman of science and will give credit where credit is due. Now I am left wondering, is he even human?
On January of 2014 Cristiano Ronaldo accepted the coveted FIFA Ballon d’Or (Golden Ball) – awarded to the player considered to have performed the best, for a sensational 2013 season.
Scoring 69 goals for both his club and the Portuguese national team, French soccer legend Zinadine Zidane called the superstar a ‘very worthy’ winner.
Still with the outpour of support from friends and rivals alike, Cristiano Ronaldo admitted not expecting to win it and broke down in tears during his acceptance speech – this is his second Ballon d’Or.
Accompanied with his son on stage, the soccer superstar thanked his teammates, family and girlfriend before quickly putting his big win behind him and getting back on the field the following day.
So, I guess ultimately, his body and mental roughness combined with his incredible talent and ambition make Cristiano Ronaldo almost robotic on the soccer field. His emotions and ability to procreate make him human.
Can someone please hurry with the Messi version? The rivalry never gets old.

‘Catfish’ Star Nev Schulman Schools Larry King on How to Avoid Getting Catfished
Are we a society of screen addicts? “Catfish” star and internet darling Nev Schulman sat down with Larry King on the Emmy nominated series “Larry King Now” to shed light on why our digital lives could be making us less empathetic and the trouble with forging relationships online. Plus, Nev’s case for connecting in real life.
MTV’s “Catfish” star Nev Schulman explained to Larry King that the time we spend online is affecting our ability to meaningfully connect with each other “When we curate our emotions based on what’s easy for us, we lose touch with the ability to connect with people who are going through something difficult” he said.
The ‘In Real Life’ author talked about his thought process before sharing something online, “Whenever I’m in a situation that I’m excited about, I say to myself ‘Why do you need to take a picture of this? Why do you need to share this with other people, instead of just being here, being present, and really taking it in for yourself?’” Nev also shared some telltale signs with Larry King on whether or not someone may be digitally lying to you, and the crossover between catfish and scam artists.
The “Catfish” host finished his interview with Larry King by answering social media questions from some of his biggest fans, including the worst catfish he’s encountered and whether he’d recommend digital dating to his one-day children. See the entire interview below.
